According to a report, Australian racing's Judicial Control Authority has reached a decision in regard to a driving violation by Awesome Armbro's pilot, Phillip Butcher, in the New Zealand Free For All

.

The incident in question took place at Addington Racetrack in mid-November. In the race, Butcher sent Awesome Armbro first-up to challenge Auckland Reactor who was in control on the lead.

According to an NZPA article on Yahoo!, JCA officials have dismissed a charge of improper driving against Butcher, but have found him guilty of driving in a manner which diminished Awesome Armbro's chances of winning the race.

Lets see, Phillip Butcher could have sat last and let Auckland Reactor set "soft fractions"and let the judges fine him for a "non effort" drive, or he could "bull rush" early and hope to get by, but if he gets parked get fined by the judges. North American drivers can thank their lucky stars the Australian Judicial Control Authority is not in charge here or few of them would earn enough to pay ther fines!!
