Dance Of Victory brought the highest winning bid of day two of the 2025 Standardbred Horse Sale on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Dance Of Victory, Hip 190, went for $352,113 ($250,000 USD) to Ake Svanstedt of Wrightstown, N.J. The filly, consigned by Concord Stud Farm, is a daughter of Walner out of the Kadabra mare She Rocks Kemp, who took a mark of 1:54.3 and won an Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg. The dam is a half-sister to Yannick G Kemp, who won a Kentucky Sire Stakes Final at Oak Grove this year.

Three colts tied for the place spot, each with a price of $281,690 ($200,000 USD): Augusta National, Wouldyoulikeamint, and Detonate.

Augusta National, Hip 347, was purchased by Brett Pelling of Cream Ridge, N.J. from the All American Harnessbreds consignment. The colt is from the first crop of North America Cup and Breeders Crown champion Pebble Beach and out of the stakes-winning mare Square Dancer. Augusta National’s half-siblings include stakes winners Lyons Benjamin ($255,729 – 1:51.2) and Signal Caller ($158,876 – 1:48.4), and his dam is a half-sister to millionaire Grand Circuit winner Allamerican Native.

Wouldyoulikeamint, Hip 382, is a son of Downbytheseaside out of Double A Mint, who won the Tattersalls Pace in 2018 and earned $646,011. The mare is out of Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Final champion Double Creme and can count stakes winners Ok Commander, Ok Boromir, and Ok Heavenly among her half-siblings. Andrew Harris, acting as an agent, purchased Wouldyoulikeamint from consignor Icy Stable.

Detonate, Hip 447, went to Brixton Medical Inc. of Orsundsbro, Sweden. The Greenshoe-Ilia colt is a half-brother to stakes winners In Range ($824,878 – 1:51.4) and Long Tom ($425,610 – 1:52.1), both of whom stand stud in Ohio, Tight Lines ($625,074 – 1:51.2), and Go Boom ($160,902 – 1:54.1). He was consigned by Concord Stud Farm.

Red Storm Hanover, Hip 552, brought the gavel down for $267,606 ($190,000), the fifth-highest price of day two, on a bid from Svanstedt. Consigned by Hanover Shoe Farms, the colt is by Captain Corey out of Ready Any Time, an Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg winner who earned $217,235. All three of her foals of racing age have earned more than $100,000.

The second session had 371 yearlings pass through the ring, grossing $19,769,014 ($14,036,000 USD) for an average price of $53,285 ($37,832 USD). That figure marked a decrease from the second day of the 2024 sale, which showed an average of $39,507 USD.

The total for the first two days was $43,090,141 ($30,594,000 USD) with an average of $79,649 ($56,551 USD) across 541 yearlings. The opening pair of sessions in 2024 brought gross sales of $31,531,000 USD and an average of $59,605 USD.

The yearling portion of the sale will wrap up on Wednesday with hips 561-903 going through the ring, beginning at 10 a.m. EST. The mixed sale portion will be held on Thursday and Friday, starting at 11 a.m. EST each day.
