Trainer/driver Brad Rae became well acquainted with the winner's circle on Saturday night picking up five driving wins during Kawartha Downs' 10-race program.
The resident of Woodville, Ontario scored wins with a pair of his own pupils; Ingot Of Desire (2:00.4) in Race 3 and Born Believer (1:58) in Race 7. Rae's other wins came in Race 6 with The Bam Man (1:54.4), Race 8 with Putnam Balloffire (1:58.3) and Race 10 with J N Maverick (1:59).
The hot-handed reinsman is in the midst of his best season for earnings. With 106 wins he has $759,527 in purses. In his career, Rae has earned over $6 million piloting 1,236 winners.
