Just A Jolt picked right up where he left off on closing day last season winning Monday’s $30,000 opening day $20,000 Open pace overtaking front-pacing Dancin Yankee in deep stretch for a 1:51.1 victory at Dover Downs.

The win was the second for owner Hudson, who also made the winner’s circle with Little Ben after a 1:52 score in a $14,000 Winners-Over male pace, and the third winner for driver Tetrick and trainer King.
Eric Goodell piloted a double winning the $18,000 sub-feature behind the Bobby Wyatt-conditioned Remember Me VK in 1:50.2 for Sharon Wyatt, Robin West and Ron Benton. Major Uptrend led until deep stretch and finished second. Bad Boy Matt was third for Allan Davis.
