Last night at Windsor Raceway, pilot Mark Williams was honoured by track management for tallying his 4,500th career driving victory Saturday, November 15 at the border oval.
In the trackside presentation, Williams was joined by family, friends, fellow horsemen and Windsor Raceway president Pat Soulliere.
Williams notched his 4,500th career victory in Race 8 Saturday, when he steered the Paul Taylor-trained and Robert Hamather-owned Northern Ace to a one and a half-length victory in 1:57.4.
Although the win aboard Northern Ace was the monumental score, Williams shook the raceway in Race 7 when he recorded his 4,499th win aboard 104-1 bomb R E American.

Always seems to give honest drives trying to get the horse in a position to win.
