Mohawk Issues Update On Strangles

Due to the current strangles outbreak at Red Shores Charlottetown, Woodbine Mohawk Park will not be accepting entries from horses based in the Maritimes until further notice.

Effective immediately, Woodbine Mohawk Park will not accept entries from horses based in the Maritimes that have not made their most recent start in Ontario.

Any individual seeking to race a horse from the Maritimes at Woodbine Mohawk Park will need the horse to have two negative strangles test, conducted one week apart, prior to the entry being taken.

Any updates to this policy will be made public to the racing industry by Woodbine.
