Giddy Up Lucky’s winning streak is now up to nine-in-a-row thanks to the career-best clocking of 1:50.2 he turned in against the foes he faced in the Monday’s $35,000 Preferred Pace at Dover Downs.

Leaving from Post 7 in the featured event, Giddy Up Lucky and driver Eric Goodell parked past the quarter pole in :27.1 before touching down on the lead. They led through middle splits of :55.3 and 1:23 before sprinting home in :27.2 for the 1:50.2 triumph. Mainland Key N was second best and Harlingen Hanover was third.

Josh Green trains the five-year-old son of Camluck-Sweet Art for the partnership of Baron Racing Stable of Horsham, PA and David Rovine of St. Petersburg, FL. It was the 12th win of the 2010 campaign and the 30th lifetime tally for the gelding who has banked in excess of $647,000 in his career.
