Perhaps hearing that the winner of some horse races get a bunch of carrots, a recently conducted Standardbred race had a rather expected contestant.

In this race from Victoria Park Wolvega in The Netherlands, a rabbit is shown charging hard to the wire starting from the 2:30 mark. While the term "rabbit" has been used in harness racing circles to describe a speedy pacesetter, this one shows a rabbit can also come from off the pace.

Despite the international language barrier, the race has been viewed more than 20,000 times since being posted two weeks ago.
