On Wednesday, November 10 at Batavia Downs, 14-year-old trotter Boomer Berman benefitted from some post relief and went on to record his 13th win of season.
After having started from the rail, Boomer Berman ($2.80) and regular driver Jack Flanigen moved to the lead at quarter pole and never looked back. The Defiant Yankee gelding went on to record his 89th career win. The mile was clocked in 2:01.
Lisa Lederhouse trains the ageless wonder for Kathy Schoeffel. The win raised the gutsy gelding's lifetime earnings to more than $214,000. He has started 252 times.
