Iron-tough invitational star Twin B Tuffenuff notched the 50th win of his career on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Twin B Tuffenuff ($4) was all business in the $5,100 conditioned feature, winning on the engine in 1:54.4. Gilles Barrieau put the 10-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven-In The Pink on the point and controlled the fractions of :27.1, :56.4, and 1:26.2 before the stallion produced a :28.2 closer to win by 1-1/4 lengths. Malignity (Paul Langille) tracked the winner and finished second ahead of T H Boomtown (David Dowling).

Twin B Tuffenuff is six-for-20 in his 10-year-old campaign for trainer Ron Matheson and owner Pat Morris of Charlottetown, P.E.I. The 2024 Governor's Plate winner attained his 50th win in his 218th start while bumping his earnings up to $825,941. The veteran has raced at 19 different tracks throughout his career.

Barrieau tripled up on the day as he also hit the wire first with a pair of horses from the Warren Grove, P.E.I.-based Nicholas Oakes stable. Rose Run X Con ($5.40) won the eighth race in 1:55.4 with Barrieau driving for owner JD Racing Inc. of Cornwall, P.E.I., then Doctor Grenfell ($2.90) controlled every step in Race 9, winning his third straight race for owner Milton Young of Paradise, N.L., this time in 1:56.2.

The Clifford Murphy barn teamed up with driver Ken Murphy for a double. They won with Abc ($2.30) in the third race with a 1:57.4 clocking, and Heres To Art ($12.70), who dug in bravely in Race 7 for a neck decision in 1:57.1.
