Yesterday afternoon at Monticello Raceway, Billy Parker, Jr. recorded a five-win driving performance. The victories increased his meet-leading total to 294, more than 100 better than his nearest rival.
Parker began the afternoon with a 2:01:1 victory with Mare Supply in the second race.
'Zeke' then won the seventh race with B Major in 1:57:3 and followed with a 1:57:2 triumph with Behind Enemy Lines in the ninth race.
Win number four on the card came in the 11th race with Starfleet Fudge in 1:59:2. Parker capped his five-bagger with a 1:58:2 victory aboard McClelland in the 12th race.
Parker has won 13 Monticello driving titles and is en route to his 14th.
On October 25, Parker will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Monticello-Goshen USHWA Chapter Banquet at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, New York.
