According to a report, renewed talks are scheduled for Tuesday, November 1 between the British Horseracing Authority and the Professional Jockeys Association in regard to the ongoing disagreement between jockeys and the BHA over a controversial new whipping rule
.
"We're absolutely committed to constructive, structured dialogue with the PJA," BHA Spokesman Will Lambe was quoted as saying. "Jockeys need to know that this is meaningful and that they are being listened to."
The report also states that PJA Chief Executive Kevin Darley has asked at least one jockey to be present during the meeting to ensure the jockeys' point of view is coming across.
