Tyler Nostadt increased his lead in the 2021 Leamington Raceway standings with a training triple on the Sunday afternoon (Oct. 3) program.
The streaking Sos Justified ($3.40) took the third race in 1:59.2 over the 'good' track to give Nostadt his first win of the day then Shadow Tail ($7.70) and Tylers Beach Boy ($2.90) won back-to-back in the fifth and sixth races.
Nostadt drove his first two winners for owner Blueshoe Investments while Tyler Borth was aboard Tylers Beach Boy for Nostadt, who co-owns with Jordyn Sumner.
The 10-race card opened with a pair of trainers celebrating their first career wins.
Driven by Garrett Rooney, Fine Credit ($9.50) won the opener by 3-3/4 lengths in 2:01.4 for Heather Sawyer, who trains and co-owns the gelded sophomore son of Up The Credit with Leticia Sawyer and Kenneth Albrecht.
Kim Biekx earned her first training triumph when her homebred four-year-old Hes Watching mare Minnie Million ($9) held off Howmac Sabrina by a half-length in 2:00 with Drew Neill in the sulky.
