World champion trotter Googoo Gaagaa was no match for his fellow three-year-old colts in Maryland Sire Stakes action Saturday night at Rosecroft Raceway, drawing away to an easy 23 length victory in 1:58.1 in his $3,200 non-wagering contest.
The son of Cams Rocket, who set the 1:50.4 all-age world record for trotters on a five-eighths mile oval in the Earl Beal Memorial at Pocono Downs in June, cruised through fractions of :29.3, 1:00.4, and 1:29.3 in Saturday's race en route to the 1:58.1 score over Brissot, Mycology and Judge Onthe Beach.

Googoo Gaagaa, who was not eligible to the Hambletonian, Kentucky Futurity or Breeders Crown, has another Maryland Sire Stakes event on October 27.
He is now eight-for-11 with over $600,000 banked in purses this year.
