The North American Amateur Drivers Association (NAADA) made a pair of charitable donations over the weekend totalling $5,000 USD between New Vocations and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Each organization received a $2,500 USD donation from the NAADA from purse earnings generated by the club’s members, who do not retain the driver’s share of purse earnings when competing as amateurs.

NAADA continues to support the mission of New Vocations, an organization focused on rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses. It is an accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit operation by the Standardbred Transition Alliance and is the United States' largest racehorse adoption program.

“New Vocations remains a national leader on the racehorse adoption front,” said Joe Faraldo, NAADA President. “We’ve been pleased to support the organization for many years now and hope that they receive continued support in the important job of rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming racehorses.”

Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides aid to first responder families as well as veterans. The organization was formed in memory of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who ran through the Brooklyn Tunnel to rescue people from the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, and lost his life in the line of duty.
