Joseph Michael dominated Monday afternoon's top-class at Exhibition Park Raceway with an easy 1:59.2 triumph.
Leaving from post-four, Trites sent the seven-year-old Jennas Beach Boy to the lead making every post a winning one. American Captain was second with J Rs Hurricane third, snapping his win streak at three.
Monday's win put Joseph Michael's lifetime win total over $130,000 for trainer Eric Wilson and New Brunswick-based owners Andrea Dolan of Lower Cambridge and Valerie Phelan of Geary.
Magical Alex took the back-up class on Monday, giving Todd Trites a pair of winners on the holiday program.
