Standardbred horsemen Roger Hamm is featured in the current edition of Sportsnet Magazine, now on newsstands across Canada

The article titled 'Win or Die Trying,' written by Trot Magazine Editor Darryl Kaplan, details Hamm’s near-death experience while racing at Sarnia’s Hiawatha Horse Park in 2009, and his subsequent recovery.
Hamm, who’ll celebrate his 71st birthday on October 24, returned to the winner’s circle on September 18 when his trainee, No Way Back, captured a maiden race at Dresden Raceway.
The story appears in the October 31 edition of Sportsnet, which can currently be purchased at magazine retailers across Canada.
Sportsnet, the country’s only national sports publication, was launched last month with a circulation of 100,000. The bi-weekly full-colour magazine covers the North American sports scene.
