Greg Sparling enjoyed a training triple at Northside Downs and added to his successful Saturday also driving John Hawco trainee Boknows Momngranny to victory in the afternoon's top class.
Boknows Momngranny went wire-to-wire in the $1,100 feature pace, winning in 1:58.2 by more than one length over favourites Junebugs Baby and Silver Dragon. The victory was the 100th of Hawco's career and 11th of the season for the seven-year-old Bo Knows Jate gelding, who is owned by Thomas Hawco Jr. of Sydney, N.S.
Sparling also drove Saturday winners Elm Grove Harley and Tymal Torrance from his stable. In addition, Island Reactor picked up her second straight win for the Sydney, N.S. horseman with John Kennedy catch-driving.
