While the New York Yankees were trying to wrap up their series against the Baltimore Orioles, NY Yankees was wrapping up a victory in Thursday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

N Y Yankees got away fourth for Dave Palone and moved first over to clear the leader, Tremor Hanover. She prevailed handily by a pair of lengths over Farouche Hanover in 1:52.2. Ladystar found late racing room for show.

Ron Burke trains N Y Yankees, a four-year-old daughter of The Panderosa-Pan Yankees who now boasts $222,108 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

In the companion feature, the $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Trot, Unefoisdansmavie spotted the field six lengths before blowing by with a sustained uncovered move that carried her to victory in 1:55. Victory Is Coming was second, with Trotslikethewind third.

Palone drove the five-year-old daughter of Revenue S-Peace To The World for Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt III.

Palone piloted five winners — three for Burke — on the 16-race card while Tony Hall enjoyed a four-bagger.
