Ontario Breeders Awards Presented

The Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association (SBOA) recognized the top breeders of the 2014 Ontario Sires Stakes season in addition to some of the industry’s most dedicated individuals at its annual awards banquet on Saturday at the Holiday Inn Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre.

The banquet began with cocktails, followed by the SBOA's annual general meeting, dinner and the awards presentations. A silent auction and stallion auction were also held during the evening.

The award winners are listed below.

Congratulations to all of the winners. I only wish that someone had made me aware of Code One Hanover and Reverend Hanover winning the two year old awards.
For that, even at my age I would have left the sunny and warm confines of South Florida to brave the elements in Frozen Ontario. Maybe next year I hope.
