MD County Residents Favour Expansion

According to a recent poll, 57 per cent of residents living in Maryland's Prince George County, home of Rosecroft Raceway, are in support of a slots facility at either the racetrack or the National Harbour

The poll, conducted by The Washington Post, indicates that 41 per cent of residents are opposed to the idea of gaming expansion in the county.

The topic has been a discussion point during Maryland's current legislative session.

An article by The Washington Post explains that a bill currently being assembled in the Maryland Senate would allow bids to be made to operate a gaming facility at either Rosecroft Raceway or the National Harbour, which is a shopping and dining area.
