Ramegade Bruiser devoured his Open Pace rivals yet again on Saturday at Woodbine Racetrack and in the process he extended his current win streak to six.

With Chris Christoforou back in the bike, Ramegade Bruiser pulled ahead of Hyperion Hanover (Mark MacDonald) en route to the first quarter in :27.3. The 8-5 second choice dictated the terms in the $50,000 event as he led the field past the half in :56.2 and three-quarters in 1:24.1.

While the popular choice, Secrets Nephew (Lyle MacArthur), attempted a first-over bid, Ramegade Bruiser refused to back down. The six-year-old son of Rambaran – Love You Dear destroyed his competitors with a three-length score in 1:51.3.

O'Brien Award winner, Secrets Nephew, finished second and Hyperion Hanover was third.

With four wins this year, the bay gelding who is trained and owned by David Brown of Cannington, Ont. has added $100,000 to his bankroll, which totals $731,739.
