Call Me Yours called every pylon her own Friday night, wiring Yonkers Raceway's co-featured $32,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace for driver Jason Bartlett

.

Leaving from post position five, the 10-1 Call Me Yours ambled around pole-sitting Hannah Isabel, gaining the lead before a :27.2 opening quarter-mile. The longshot rated a 58-second intermission, turning up the tempo when race favourite Ramona Disomma, who won last week's edition of the class, came calling. Call Me Yours repelled that one through a brisk 28-second third quarter, taking a length-and-a-quarter lead into the lane.

Hannah Isabel had a free shot in the passing lane, with Symphony in Motion leaving the cones when Leanback Coco gapped the favourite. All the while, Call Me Yours held sway, beating Symphony in Motion by a length-and-a-half in 1:54.2. Hannah Isabel finished third.

For Call Me Yours, a five-year-old daughter of Your Nemesis trained by Mark Ford for owner Stephen Gillard, she returned $23.40 for her second consecutive win in four seasonal starts.

Friday night's co-featured Open Handicap Trot saw Impressive Earl pop out of the claimers and into the winner's circle.

Given an inside starting venue with driver Stephane Bouchard in two, Impressive Earl, who was making his first start for new connections, released American Lane before a :28.1 opening quarter. Bet to Win was parked two turns from the eight-hole, eventually making the lead before a :57.2 half. Race favourite Victors Vicky moved from fourth but never threatened. Bet to Win maintained the advantage at the 1:27.1 three-quarters when American Lane pulled pocket.

Meanwhile, Impressive Earl improved inside, then found the short way to paydirt. He won by a half-length in a career-best 1:57.2 despite broken equipment. Ripped rallied wide to grab second over American Lane.

For Impressive Earl, a seven-year-old Valley Victor gelding owned by Lightning Lane Stable and trained by Lou Pena, he returned $31 for his second win in three 2010 tries.
