Driver William Tainsh Jr. visited the winner's circle five times on the 12-race matinee at Northlands Park on Saturday, Jan. 27.
Tainsh Jr.'s five winners consisted of Winking At You ($7.20), winning the opener off a pocket trip in 2:00.1, Queen Of Thrones ($11.50), lunging off cover to win the third by a nose in 1:59.1, Hez So Foxy ($3.10), who is trained by Tainsh Jr. and won by two-and-a-quarter lengths in 1:57, Dream Chase ($4.70), a wire-to-wire winner in 2:00.4, and Steal The Diamonds ($4.40), who opened a four-length lead after circling to the top by the quarter in progress to a 1:58 win by two-and-three-quarter lengths.
