When pacing horse Carnivore makes his four-your-old debut, the ownership will remain the same but there will be a different trainer listed

.

After entering the horse in the Tattersalls January Mixed Sale, owner and trainer Jack Darling decided to race him instead. But with Darling vacationing in Florida, he has left the Real Desire horse with someone stabled in the New York-New Jersey area - O'Brien Award finalist Casie Coleman.

"I left Carnivore in Jersey and he is in Casie's stable out there now," Darling told Trot Insider. "He is eligible to the Aquarius Series at the Meadowlands so we will try him in there. I am also curious to see how he would do at Yonkers; I think he is well suited for half-mile racing."

Darling and Coleman are certainly well acquainted as they are both stabled at Classy Lane Training Centre.

"Carnivore seems like a nice horse so far; he trained a few trips very well," trainer Casie Coleman told Trot Insider. "He'll qualify at Freehold on Thursday and then we'll probably race a bit at Yonkers or the Big M, possibly paying him into the Levy Series."

The pacer was a multiple stakes winner at The Red Mile in his rookie season. He captured the $300,000 final of the KYSS plus rich divisions of the International Stallion Stake and the Bluegrass. At age three he defeated Grand Circuit types in his $100,000 division of the Burlington Stakes and the Bud Light Stakes at Flamboro Downs.
