A report on 13abc.com in regard to the possibility of Raceway Park in Toledo, Ohio moving locations has quoted veteran horseman Mark Headworth and Penn National Gaming Inc. spokesman Bob Tenenbaum.
Tenebaum stated that the company will look at moving the track to a city where racetracks could boost economic development and increase revenue, but that the process will include an internal study and that there has not been a decision made as of yet.
"It's not just horse people and employees at the track who are affected by this," Headworth said. "I buy hay, straw, grain. There are horse shoers, farmers. I buy a new truck and trailer every few years. A lot of people are affected by it."
