In the stake final for colts and geldings, Bill Davis took Camblazer right to the front of the field from Post 5 and laid down fractions of 28.3, 58.1 and 1:27.3 before kicking away by six and three-quarter lengths for the win in a new mark of 1:56.4.

Ronnie Rickles (Scott Knight) was the runner-up and Im The Money (David Hudon) was third.

A winner of $35,155, the three-year-old Kents On Nuke filly hangs her harness in the Walter Slopianka stable. She is owned by the J J J Stables of Aldergrove, B.C. and Alan Anderson of Willows, California.

The five-year-old daughter of Camluck carved out panels of :28.3, :57.3 and 1:25.1 in rein to trainer David McKellar before sprinting home in :28.3 for a four-length victory in a new lifetime mark of 1:53.4.
