Callahan Clicks For Six At Dover Downs

Corey Callahan put on a driving clinic at Dover Downs on Saturday by guiding home six winners on the 15-race program

The win parade for Callahan started in the second race thanks to a narrow score behind Catch The Wind (1:56.3). He returned to victory lane in the sixth race thanks to a gate-to-wire score with Hay Big Tuna (2:00).

Callahan went on to win four consecutive dashes (Races 10-13) with Mexican Coast (1:53.4), Cookerosa (1:53.2), Mythicalconnection (1:54) and Iron Legend (1:54.1) en route to completing the six-win performance.

The resident of Queenstown, Maryland put up career numbers in 2008 thanks to 450 victories and purses that soared past the $5.2 million mark. To date, he has reined in 832 winners and purses in excess of $8.8 million.
