The seven-year-old Armbro Nash gelding challenged favourite R Rkadabra (James MacDonald) through fractions of :29.3, :58.4 and 1:28.4, eventually drawing clear towards the final turn and then holding off the late-charging Euro Classic (Per Henriksen) in the stretch to win in 2:00.1 by a quarter-length. The track was rated "good" with a two second variant following Saturday night's cancellation.

Rockwood, Ont. horseman Daniel Potvin owns, trains and drives A Nasty Business, who now has 11 wins and career earnings totalling $77,624.
