Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program

The North American Amateur Drivers Association (NAADA) has announced a donation of $2,500 to the Oxford, New York-based Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program.

It was a hard fought battle, but in the end, track oddsmaker and TV host Dave Brower took the inaugural Meadowlands Battle of the Masterminds, which ran from June 3 to August 5.

Anthony Paterno of Wallington, New Jersey, walked away with a 2022 Toyota Corolla LE as the grand prize winner of Meadowlands Racetrack’s Horseplay promotion.

The Standardbred Transition Alliance (STA) has announced that grants totaling $50,000 have been distributed to STA Aftercare Organizations that have successfully achieved accreditation in 2022.  

Mill Creek Farm of Saratoga is donating a 2022 season to their new stallion Coraggioso, the 2012 New York Sire Stakes champion, to the Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program said owner Anne Morgan.
