For Mother's Day, we presented a list of the top mares based on certain production criteria. Of course, in some of those instances the mares were tied with other mares atop those standings simply out of limited production ability. On the stallion side, that's definitely a different scenario.
The sires that lead those same production categories are a much more select group. While 15 mares were presented in the Mother's Day feature, only four of harness racing's stallions represent those same statistical leaders.

I agree with Mr.Files. Meadow skipper was one of the all time greats and he was the sire of albatross and many other great ones. When i think of great stallions i think of ones who were very influential to the breed and i think of the likes of Meadow Skipper, Albatross, Bret Hanover, Big Towner, Cam Fella, and Tar Heel.
