Almost Ready To Roll

Rain wiped out any thoughts of training days on Wednesday and Thursday, but today (Friday) with a decent track (off a tick) and a strong wind, Shadow paced his last of 3 training miles at his home track in 1:58 flat, first and last quarters in 29. He was very strong and all continues to be well. It appears that we are on schedule now for one last training next week and then a qualifier at the Charlottetown Driving Park, probably next Saturday.

His Jug foot problem has now grown down fully and is not anticipated to be any factor this year. I have a new set of harness for him to try on in next week's training.

Like to see Shadow Play qualify at CDP, Saturday May 2, how can I find out if he's going to make it for Saturday for sure, if so might be worth taking the drive across the strait to see him.
