Seeing horses that Shadow Play beat like a drum last year win major money this year is frustrating to say the least. SP took off when he got to Pocono on their 5/8 oval. Maybe that's what he needs to jump start his year. I realize that as Canadians winning at places like Western Fair & Rideau Carleton has a sentimental feel to it, but when you're the 2nd best 3yo pacer on the continent in a year when Somebeachsomewhere, a once in a generation type happens to be 3 as well, you need to treat/run the Shadow Plays of the world as the royalty that they are. Physical issues notwithstanding, some kind of directional shift is in order. The major older horse features are coming quickly ya'll. Bettor Sweet? Please.
