Care to speculate on the best 3YOPF champion?

I really don't have a clue who will be selected champion sophomore pacing filly in North America for this season. You can make a case for several of them as they took turns beating up on each other in the headliner events.

Tug River Princess raced a long season and was usually in the thick of things. Chancey Lady had a terrific season, too, and she can lay claim to the crown. Native Bride was almost unbeatable late in the year except for the Breeders Crown.

Then you can't forget Good News Lady and the Breeders Crown winner A and G's Confusion.

Beach dominated the boys, but this division had better balance. No true superstars, but a nice group of fillies. Since I can't pick the best of this bunch, tell me what lass you think should Queen for the Year 2008?

(And, yes, Anne, we'll get to the trotters. Be patient. You're much younger than I am, so you can afford to be patient.....)

Giss: Your are aboslutely correct---I never should have left off Artimittateslife. She's a darn good filly and had a wonderful season, winning 11 of 20, including the New York Sires Stakes championship at Yonkers. It was my bad to overlook her as she's certainly deserving of support.

Dean, I voted for Tug River Princess over a mare you did not even list, Arimittateslife. This division is clearly the most competitive and I am very interested to see how it turns out.

I would give it to Tug River Princess...She was the most consistent from start to finish.
Chancy Lady did miss some time in the summer and was a complete bomb in the OSS superfinal @ Woodbine
A And G's confusion only became relevent late in the year.
Native Bride was very good most of the year, I will give her that, but the money doesnt add up to the starts and wins
Good News Lady...Winless until the Jugette and her other win came a week later in the Bluegrass..3 wins in a week and a half and thats it?..No.
