In November 2023, when the tragic Tioga Downs barn fire took the lives of 30 horses, five of them were owned in-whole or in-part by Mindy Findling Repko and her husband Jan. Absolute horse lovers who keep 11 of their retirees on their Indiana farm, the couple were more than devastated. A year later they agreed to buy another horse, and thought they purchased ‘Fated Fury’ online. Their new mare’s name wasn’t Fated Fury however, but Fate definitely played a role in the purchase.
