New blood... harness racing needs it. Many of today’s fans and participants got involved in this sport after experiencing the vibrant racetrack atmosphere of the 70s and 80s, or through family connections. But where will we draw new people from moving forward? Almost every other sport in Canada offers a program dedicated to getting youth involved... youth hockey, youth soccer, youth baseball... why not “youth harness racing”?
