Just months away from his ninetieth birthday, and four decades deep into standardbred racing, Leo Thibodeau shows no hesitation calling it as it is. He’s had good luck and bad, both personally and professionally, but thanks to his speedy homebred colt Sparky Mark – named for his youngest son – the sport he loves is today bringing some light to his life at the time when he needs it most.
