When Joseph Lyons was a kid, they built a Standardbred track just 15 minutes from his family’s home in Wales. Soonafter, the Lyons family made a few visits to the new track and got bitten by the horse racing bug. Joe’s sons and nephews have all been bitten now too, and none of them would have it any other way. By John Rallis.
