In 2007-08 Marc Campbell drove Howmacs Dragon for Earl Watts, and the classy mare taught the young driver plenty. A number of years later, he drove that one’s daughter, Howmac Missy, for Earl... a mare that was known for her heart. In 2025, Earl Watts raced Howmac Missy’s two-year-old daughter, Windemere Skye, 12 times - and she never lost. For 10 of those wins her driver was - yup - Marc Campbell.
