When Richard Hans bred his nondescript trotting mare to his dad’s relatively unknown pacing stallion, in late June of 2008, he surely wasn’t expecting the result to be a $600,000+ winning World Champion trotter, nor did he expect that the foal might one day change the landscape of European racing for years to come.
