It’s said, time-and-again, that horse racing’s caretakers are the most underappreciated sector in our sport. At TROT, we agree, and in an effort to say “thank you” to these hard-working men and women, we annually run a number of caretaker profiles in the magazine. This year we’re sharing the stories behind eight of these individuals, and want them to know that they truly are appreciated. By John Rallis & Dan Fisher.
