86-year-old Carter Duer has spent a lifetime working with stallions, broodmares and babies at famous Standardbred nurseries such as Castleton, Kentuckiana and Peninsula Farms, so going into yearling sale season, TROT thought it would be interesting to learn about the life, and listen to the stories, of the excellent yearling man with the incredible memory - and we were pleased that Mr. Duer agreed to share those memories with us.
