In the winter of 2019 when trainer Jared Bothwell added trotter Hopes Solo to his barn, little did he know how it would change his life.
A year later, after conditioning the daughter of Cornaro Dasolo to 11 victories, Paul Polillo, whose father Guy had bred the mare, gave Jared a call. The family were looking for a trainer for their filly, GP Dreamin, and Jared’s success with Hopes Solo hadn’t gone unnoticed. Now, with an impressive OSS Gold victory under their belts, the owners and trainer are all very happy with their new partnership. By Rachel Oenema.
