Terminally ill with cancer in the spring of 2016, longtime owner/breeder Guy Polillo of Brantford, Ontario desperately wanted to see his mare, Fiorentina, get in-foal to his stallion, Cornaro Dasolo.
Guy was dreaming of the champion that he thought this cross could produce. Now, just over four years later, Guy’s widow, his children and his grandchildren are living out his dreams for him, but still wishing he could be here to share it with them. By Dan Fisher.
