Eligibility:

For 3-year-old pacing fillies in 2024 that are registered with Standardbred Canada or the United States Trotting Association prior to the date on which nominations close and are (a) sired by a stallion that stood in Canada for the entire 2021 breeding season, and/or (b) non-Canadian sired fillies that are wholly owned by residents or citizens of Canada provided that: (i) if the owner is a partnership, stable, corporation or a similar entry, all partners, members or shareholders must be residents or citizens of Canada; (ii) if leased, both lessors and lessees must be residents or citizens of Canada; (iii) to remain eligible to either event, fillies must continue to be wholly owned by residents or citizens of Canada at the time of nomination and while the event is contested; (iv) the sale of a nominated filly to a non-resident or non-citizen of Canada eliminates it from further eligibility as of the date of the sale, and (v) all sales of nominees both before and after nominations must be bona fide sales. For the purpose of these conditions, "residents of Canada" are persons who maintain their permanent residences in Canada at the time nominations close and resided in Canada for at least 183 days in 2021. "Citizens of Canada" are persons who maintain their Canadian citizenships.

Fee Notes:

Make nomination fee payable to Standardbred Canada.
Payments can be made through SC Stakes Online by clicking here or by mail.
Envelopes must be clearly post-marked on or before the due date to be accepted.
If the due date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, envelopes may be post-marked the next business day.

Starting fees are payable to host racetrack.

Starters must be declared at or prior to the closing time as per condition sheet.

Conditions:

1. To be raced at a distance of one mile.
2. The purse shall be distributed on a 50%, 25%, 12%, 8%, and 5% basis.
3. In the event of more than one division, declarations to be divided by lot with entries seeded.
4. Purse monies and nomination fees to be divided equally among the divisions with declaration fees allocated to the appropriate divisions in relation to the number of horses drawn to each.
5. Starters must be declared at or prior to the closing time as per condition sheet.
All payment envelopes must be post-marked no later than midnight of May 15, 2024. Nomination payments are to be payable to Standardbred Canada. It is recommended that entry forms be completed and returned, with sufficient payment, to reach Standardbred Canada as early as possible in order that entries be processed in due time. This will assist to alleviate any potential errors or omissions, which may occur.
