BC Sale Stake #24

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
▪ The B.C. Rules of Standardbred Racing shall govern.
▪ All events to be raced a distance of one mile.
▪ If 6 or more horses entered to the Final, the purse will be $40,000 split by division; if less than 6 horses entered
to the Final, the purse will be $20,000 split by division.
▪ If divisions are required, entries will be split first by Owner, then by Trainer where possible.
▪ The purse distribution for each event will be 50%, 25%, 12%, 8%, and 5%. In the event of less than five starters
in any event, extra purse monies will be added to the winners share.
▪ If an elimination to a stake race has less than 5 finishers due to interference or accident, the non offending
parties will receive the purse money. Any remaining money will return to the purse pool. In case of a stake
final, any unclaimed funds will go to the winner instead of returning to the purse pool.
▪ The also eligible cannot be moved in to race after advance betting has commenced.
▪ HRBC reserves the right to reject any entry and declare the event off due to insufficient entries, less than (5)
betting interests.
▪ All questions regarding eligibility will be determined by the Judges.
▪ All purses are subject to industry funding, slot performance and simulcast revenue.
▪ HRBC reserves the right, with the Judges approval, to adjust any and all purses if the industry is not sufficient
to support advertised stake purses.
