More 'Buckeye' For Filly Pacers Thursday

Four divisions of two-year-old filly pacers will take to the Eldorado Scioto Downs track Thursday, Sept. 9, for the fourth leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series.

Future Ex Wife (sired by Fear The Dragon) leads the 32 fillies that will go for a purse of $17,500 in each division. Trained by Bill Rhoades and driven by Aaron Merriman, Future Ex-Wife has won the three previous legs.

Two fillies, Cruzinbytheseaside (by Downbytheseaside) and McAngel (by McArdle), have each won two legs of the series. Cruzinbytheseaside is trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. and driven by Brett Miller. Sandy Beatty trains and drives McAngel.

Seven other fillies have won a leg in the series, including: Love Me Hill (by Racing Hill), Fantasy Life (by Downbytheseaside), Prancing Queen (by Downbytheseaside), Shesonebadmomma (by Big Bad John), She Means Business (by Pet Rock), Bowery (by Downbytheseaside), and Bittrsweetsymphony (by Well Said).

Post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs is set for 6:15 p.m.

The Buckeye Stallion Series returns to Scioto Downs on Saturday, Sept. 11 with the fourth leg for two-year-old colt pacers and three-year-old filly pacers.
