It is with profound sadness
It is with profound sadness I learn of the passing of longtime Montreal Track announcer
Donald Pinard. Mr Pinard was an energetic man with agreat sense of humor and if you were ever fortunate to be in his presence for a brief period you immeadiately liked him. Along with his great personality he called races with a flair that few could equal and he also did it simultaneously in english and french. Sadly we in Montreal have no horse racing and it is a shame with a city of our size. In any event farewell Monsieur Pinard until we see each other at the track on the other side where there are only winners and no,losers. RIP
Le voici, here they are. rip
