Wicked Nick will be looking to keep his divisional lead intact this Thursday night (September 8) at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park, and he will start from a favourable post in the richest two-year-old trot stakes event of the year at the P.E.I. track.

Wicked Nick has drawn Post 1 in the $10,850 Blair Andrew Memorial Trot (Race 2). The Tad The Stud gelding has three wins from just five lifetime starts for trainer-driver Gary Chappell and owners Peter Buchanan of North Wiltshire and Cam Trail of O’Leary. The second $10,850 division will line up for Race 5. Pappy Go Go has drawn Post 6 for trainer-driver Marc Campbell and owner Grayland Farm of Nova Scotia. Other entrants include Tale Of Windemere (Ken Murphy), Revenueofwindemere (Terry Gallant), BJ Lorado (Brian MacPhee), Play Along (Trevor Easter) and Dusty Lane Gloria (Paul Lanigan).

The $1,900 featured pace (Race 11) has Bazillion pegged as the class of the field from Post 6 for driver MacPhee, trainer Trevor Hicken and owner Kent Livingston of Cornwall.

The field also includes Cabo Pan Lucas (Kenny Arsenault), Celebrate Your Bet (Stephen Quinn), Van Zant (Ron Matheson), Tempo Seelster (Vincent Poulton), Brodys Leona (Corey MacPherson), Perfect Escape (Gilles Barrieau) and McJestic (Jason Hughes).

The 12-dash card gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
