The executive and staff of the Lakeshore Harness Racing Association would like to send a big shout-out and an abundance of thanks to all the horsepeople and friends from across Ontario that donated towards the purchase of bicycles for Lakeshore’s big giveaway this past Sunday.
With your help the organization was able to give away 38 bicycles, six helmets and four gift cards to some very happy children, and the smiles on those faces were priceless.
The organization would also like to thank Wanna Drive for coming and giving the kids such a great experience. The stands were full and the festivities made for a very busy and fun day with a handle of over $37,000.
Kid’s Day is one of Lakeshore’s favourite events. It is held every Labour Day Weekend and the organization couldn’t put it on without the generosity of so many.
